Think I've finally finished my 'Red Rhino'! I softned the contrast on his nostrils a bit and added a few more layers.

Here's my latest addition to my Graphic River items for sale - 'Digital Freeze Landscape'. A casual snow background that's the seasonal opposite of 'Digital Oxygen'. Lotsa options for customization with the texture layer just by changing the blending mode to multiply - changes the snow scene to a night time landscape. The file also has 2 different psd layers for the snow, so it's easy to customize the snow fall.

I don't post nearly as much as I intend to. I haven't had much time for any art, been focusing much more on my digital art portfolio.

I've just had 'Digital Oxygen Landscape' approved for sale on Graphic River.

I've started doing some designs for Graphic River, check out my designs under Tamixes. If you're looking for templates, images or backgrounds, browse around to see some of the talented designers on the site. Alternatively if you're a designer, sign up as an author, it's a great way to make some passive income.

On the Easel

I'm still building up the layers on this one, it's been 'on the shelf' since Feb. Pastel is one of my favorite mediums as each new pastel layer creates a new history to the drawing, it gives it movement and life

Whew! My last post was months ago... I've been sidetracked over the past 2 months as I'm building up my design portfolio again. I've got an exhibition coming up in November so I really need to start putting pen to paper again to create tangible artwork - not the computer orientated stuff I've been doing. As for my waterlily painting, well, ahem... it's still in progress, I've done layers of washes and some pastel painting and it still is not worthy of a public viewing yet.
